Shooting candidly is an ongoing job throughout the entire day and you need to have eyes in the back of your head. Look around you all the time and try to predict what might be happening next. If you see something interesting going on, get involved and be prepared to intervene to get your shot.

You should have allotted some time in your plan to work with the key children at the wedding. Try to engage them in a game or activity, a running race or picking a flower, rather than trying to pose them as they will bore of that very quickly. You will achieve much better results shooting them while they are having fun. Children are unpredictable so always be prepared to grab shots as events unfold.
